Introduction #
Congratulations on signing up for the Army Hypori BYOD program. Hypori Halo serves as virtual government-furnished equipment (GFE) environment, enabling soldiers to securely connect to NIPRNet, send emails, use Microsoft Teams, and access CAC-enabled websites on their personal mobile devices. This capability ensures a balance between user privacy, as there is no government or Army data transmitted to or stored on the device, and the Army’s network security.
Problem #
Great, you want to access Hypori on your phone on-the-go and on your iPad off-duty. Is that possible?
Solution: Steps to Access Hypori Halo Virtual Workspace from Multiple Devices #
- Request a New Hypori QR Code:
- Contact the Army Enterprise Service Managed Platform (AESMP) at 866-335-ARMY.
- Alternatively, submit a BYOD ticket via the Army Enterprise Service Managed Platform (AESMP) (CAC Required).
- Receive and Scan the QR Code:
- Once you receive the new QR code, scan it on your additional device.
- Connect to Virtual Workspace:
- After scanning, you will automatically connect to your existing virtual workspace without needing further configuration.
Note:
- You can have multiple instances of the Hypori Halo application connecting to the same virtual workspace.
- However, you can only have one instance of Army MobileConnect on your primary device for generating your Hypori pin.
